Designer and Maker
"I see myself more as a design craftsman. In my work as a product designer, the focus is on the intuitive wanting-to-use or the communication of information. As a craftsman, I experiment and explore different materials as well as new and old techniques in the spirit of ‘understanding by doing’. This results in various everyday objects and graphic works, but also various design series, handmade ceramics and unique pieces, some of them are also available in the online shop."
"It's less about owning and more about that you intuitively like to use it. Things you like to use, you don't throw away so quickly. That is also a form of sustainability.
Yvette Hoffmann studied product design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and founded her design studio in Stuttgart in 2011. In addition to working on self-initiated projects and experiments in the studio workshop, she collaborates with companies, other creatives and experts in various fields of design.
